Bloggers and Nashville Politics

This is kind of fascinating.  Almost every Nashville blogger I know (save Goldni) is supporting Briley.  Liberal, conservative, moderate, it doesn’t seem to matter.  I even voted for him.

I’m afraid that tonight we’re going to get a reminder of just how little influence we bloggers have on local Nashville politics.

Maybe one day.  But I have a feeling Briley might come in third, at best.  He’s young, though.  Big things are ahead for him.

And I would absolutely love to be pleasantly surprised.

As an aside, if you live in Bellevue, and haven’t voted yet, please consider Julie Lamb for 22nd district.  She will serve you well, and doesn’t base her actions on whether or not it gets in the papers or on TV.
