I’ll stick my head up from the abyss long enough to pass along this jewel:
The Muppets bring out the best in EVERYONE. I’m not a big REM fan. Most bands become unlikable the moment they start to take themselves too seriously; REM started out that way. But, with the Muppets, this sarcastic, smarmy song is actually kind of sweet.
If I ever get out of this craziness that is my life right now, I’ll post more “stars with Muppets” videos. Alice Cooper is a hoot, for instance.
